Power settings for the display and media player.

Modified on Wed, 18 Sep at 1:41 PM

Configure the display power settings.

Depending on the make and model of your display, the options below may differ.

Generally the remote control that comes with the display will contain a button (Menu / Settings / Options / Setup). If it’s not a button, you may need to find these options through the on-screen navigation of the display. Ultimately seek guidance in the product manual or provide the make and model of the screen to support.

1. Turn off all Power Saving features and Sleep Mode.
(Displays settings / Picture settings / Eco settings / Advance settings)

2. Create your Power On and Power Off schedule for the display operation times.
(Advanced Settings / Schedules / Time / Power)

Note: Please remember to select the proper input source of the TV.
(HDMI-1 / HDMI-2 / DisplayPort-1 / DisplayPort-2)

3. Screenseed Media Player Power Schedule

The media player is configured for the following schedule by default.

Monday - Friday

Wake up: 6:00 AM

Reboot: 6:05 AM

Go to sleep: 6:00 PM

Friday - Monday

Go to sleep Friday: 6:00 PM

Sleep Saturday

Sleep Sunday

Wake up Monday: 6:00 AM

This schedule provides optimal power savings, works well with both Standard and Daylight Time, and prolongs the life of the hardware.
